Congrats goes out to Sean Krupa for his new personal record on his Typhoon 2.0 build and going 10.49@129mph (with a best of 131mph) with a 1.59 60 foot!  Oh, and best of all? The truck is 100% streetable and not just a trailer and track queen. In fact, Sean often drives his beast to work.

Typhoon 2.0 runs on a Holley Dominator system fueled by E85. It also has forged internals with a 4 bolt filled block block, Brodix ported heads, a custom cam, headers and a built 4L80E.

ISTR will be featuring an upcoming interview here on the site with young Sean, his truck, SK Kustoms, and the road to his 10 second time slip. Meanwhile check out the track footage of Sean’s pass here:

I can’t speak for the truck first hand (looks awesome) but Sean has been a stand up guy in getting me up and running with the Holley Dominator. Rather it be over the phone, facebook or exchanging e-mails he has been very accommodating in sharing advice and technical know how from his experience. Best of luck pushing past 10.49.

Thank you!! ^^^ It means a lot to be in the spotlight. This 2.0 Build wasn’t easy that’s for sure. I’ve shown what you can do on a “Budget” couple years ago running 10.71 @ 124 with a 104k mile Stock Bottom End engine with Bolt on Heads/Cam and Tuning, to this Build which is the “safer and right” way to go Fast reliably. More to come and Track day…soon!!

I think you should bring that beautiful truck to NASTE meet so we can run for Pinks. It will be right at home next to mine in the garage.
